Milling Cedar (and Wood Sale)

The work planned for today is to put up lights in the lumber storage area. We will also trim and relocate the dry birch into the upright storage area. Please bring your own lunch or snack.
This Saturday's plan is to mill maple that we got from Westwood Lake. We'll need a crew for moving, tagging and pricing wood. (This event is now cancelled because of snowy conditions.) Start time is 10:00 am. Bring your own snacks.
Because of snowy conditions at Frost Field, milling this Saturday is cancelled. Instead, the revised plan will be to epoxy the table that will be provided for auction at the Brant Carving and Art Show. Join us beginning at 9:00 am if you are interested in helping or learning. Bring your own snacks.
This next steps for preparing our donation table will be to pour epoxy into the larger gaps. Feel free to join us to learn something new, or provide advice. Too much movement has resulted in a change of plans for the cottonwood slab as possible remedies are considered for its future. (Shallow wading pool?) Alternatives for a donation table are also being considered.
Too much movement has resulted in a change of plans for the cottonwood slab as possible remedies are considered for its future. (Shallow wading pool?) Alternatives for a donation table are also being considered.
Clean-up of landing includes cutting bowl blanks and some firewood. Several members will be needed to assist Roger. Helpers will have first access to wood.
Cleanup the landing, and paint lumber ends. Roger will also sell wood if there are any buyers.
