This workshop follows the Plane and Chisel Blade workshop, and will feature sharpening kitchen knives, carving knives, and carving tools like gouges and chisels. Use of power tools for shaping blades will be shown, as well as different methods of hand sharpening using stones, sandpaper, and leather honing strops. Bill Beese will show how he keeps his knives razor sharp for creating his beautiful carvings.
