Sorry to hear that Tony, maybe the sharpening display at our meeting was sufficient for the majority. The $30 fee may have been too much for the basic skills that can easily be found on the internet but not easily learned.
I think that you are correct, Dave. There are great sharpening videos on the Internet – for free. And…you can watch them in your pyjamas, with a coffee in hand!

There used to be the Council Of Forest Industries out of the lower mainland (COFI ). They as scientists used to test different woods and soil conditions of the specie back in the day…I wonder if they are still around ??
